Shamgar: the Bridge Back to God Scriptures

Shamgar (Judges 3:31) The Bridge Back into Relationship with God

God's original plan for mankind included that He loved Adam and Eve, wanted them to have an abundant live with all their needs met in abundance, and to walk in peace of mind.  See the scripture(s) below:

God’s Love (John 3:16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Abundant Life (John 10:10)  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Peace of Mind (John 16:33)  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
But our great, great, great, great…….grandpa and grandma, Adam and Eve, were disobedient to the Lord's commandment bringing sin (Disobedience or "Doing your own thing") into the world and causing a break in the relationship between God and mankind.  Therefore, we all have inherited and are born with the that disobedient spirit of Adam and Eve:

All Have Sinned (Rom 3:23)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
And this disobedient spirit causes up to walk a broken and lifeless life before God until we submit to His will and plan for our lives through a relationship with Jesus:

Sin has a Penalty (Rom 6:23)  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
And if we continue doing our own thing, it will end in judgment:

The Judgment (He 9:27)  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
And punishment:

Everlasting Punishment (Mat 25:46)  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
But Jesus, through His obedient death on the cross and resurrection from the dead brought us back across the gap between God and mankind into right relationship with God:

God’s Love (Rom 5:8)  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
All we have to do is to hear and believe what God says in the Bible:

Hear / Believe (John 5:24)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
And make a 180 degree turn in our "Doing our own thing" lifestyle:

Repent (Luke 13:3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Then truly believe ( God only wants one thing from us:  Our whole life completely committed to His Will and Plan for our lives) and make Him the Boss of everything in our lives:

And they said Believe on the Lord (Master or Boss) Jesus (Savior) Christ (Power of Holy Spirit) and thou shalt be saved, and thy house (Acts 16:31).
You must also, receive Him and His Spirit into your heart (Your nature or the center of who you are) which will give you a new perspective and attitude:

Must Receive Christ (John 1:12 )  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Open the Door (Rev 3:20)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
And, you can do this will all the assurance that it is finished by the authority of the Word of God:

Assurance (1 John 5:11)  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
