God's Will, Plan for Your Life

God (through Jesus) has a will and plan for your life to make you into that total, whole, complete, and mature individual who you have always wanted to be, if you will accept it (His will and plan) and receive it into your life:

He loves you personally a bunch:  John 3:16:   “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”,

and wants you to have an abundant (full) life:  John 10:10:  “The thief (the devil/satan) comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (your life); but I (Jesus) am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly (or to the full)”,

plus give you peace of mind: John 16:33:  “These things I (Jesus) have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world (‘s systems) you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I (Jesus) have overcome the world (and its systems).”

All He (God) wants in return from you is one thing:  your whole life (body, soul, and spirit) completely committed to His plans for your life.  To do that, you have to admit your neediness and turn (repent) from doing your own thing with your life to doing God’s thing in your life.

When you do that, the Holy Spirit of God comes into your spirit (heart / nature) and crosses out your old “doing your own thing” (i.e., sinful) nature and gives you a new perspective (God’s) on everything that has to do with life and living.

Even though you then have a brand new spirit (the Holy Spirit) at the center of your life and attitude, you still have old thinking and habits (both in your soul and body) to varying degrees.   These old ways you need to yield to and release to the new perspectives of the Holy Spirit.  The sooner and quicker this yielding and releasing of your old ways is done, the better.  As you do, you will receive new (positive / God’s) thinking and habits.

God works from the inside out in your life as you grow and mature in the Holy Spirit’s perspective by ingesting God’s Word (the Bible) on a daily basis and building up the Holy Spirit’s strength in you by exercising (praying to and praising God, and having fellowship with other Christians) and building up your new perspective, Spirit, and attitude.

But as God is working to grow you up from the inside out, satan (see John 10:10 above) is working from the outside in (using the five physical senses) to mess up your life and tear you down.  It is a battle that you will win because Jesus won His battle over death. “The same Spirit (God’s Holy Spirit) that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you.”(Romans 8:11)

That is why the Christian life may not seem any easier when you commit your whole life (body, soul, and spirit) to God’s plan for your life as there is a new battle between the goodness of God’s Holy Spirit who now dwells in you and the spirit of anti-christ (satan) that dwells in the world’s systems. But you must believe (have trusting faithfulness and faithful trustfulness in His principles and plans for your life) that God is the victor and does love you so much that He wants to grow you up from the inside out into the total, whole, complete, and mature individual who you have always wanted to be.
